In addition to lunch, you will see firsthand the work that Goodwill is doing through a partnership with Google to impact the local economy through digital skills training. The Learn IT Digital Skills Classroom Mobile Unit will be located at 115 S. Handley (-13) at the corner of Texas and Handley Streets in Delano. The unit features ten computer stations, a full library of Google-based resources, virtual classroom technology and individual coaching to ensure all participants learn professional-grade digital literacy skills. Aimed at adults, the lab will work with community agencies before arriving at a given location. Once there, participants will learn on-site and be given online access to continue their learning, utilizing referral services in the area such as public libraries, local schools/colleges and workforce centers.
